Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and it’s time to get romantic… and creative!
To kick off Valentine’s Day 2012, Gary’s Bistro will be hosting a love poetry contest. The winner of the contest will win a romantic dinner for two at the Bistro with a special menu created by Chef Paul on Valentine’s Day including: an appetizer, two entrees, two desserts and a bottle of wine. The poems will be judged Friday February 10th, so ready your rhymer and let loose some alliteration.
- Submit your poem below.
- Make sure to fill out all of the required fields and hit the submit button.
- After we approve the poem (keep it clean – no curse words!), it will be published to our blog.
- Next, check your email! We will send you a confirmation email and another email with a link so you can share it with your friends and family, post it to Facebook and send to your co-workers!
- Get everyone you know to comment on your poem and vote for it.
- The top five poems with the most comments and votes (from different people) will move to the final round.
- The final poem will be selected by executive chef, Paul Flores and owner, Gary Martin Hays.
- You may write your poem in any style – as long as it’s lovely!
- The winner will be announced at 4:00pm on Facebook on Friday February 10th. (We will also send the winner an email and call to make sure they get their prize!)
